Humor is an important element that helps maintain my healthy lifestyle. But I also include regular and frequent workouts at the gym, great conversation, visits to museums and theaters, walks with my two Whippets, hikes, many other activities, and a wide variety of good books. I have a great love and respect for animals and the environment. Listening to nature's music is incredibly uplifting. Speaking of music, you'll often catch me singing along with songs on the radio, as music is a great passion of mine.
I enjoy sporting events, family celebrations (family relationships are very important to me), and other social gatherings. My creative and reflective side enjoys cooking, beading, ceramics, art, spiritual study, and music. My graduate degree extended to include several years of PhD study, and although that is no longer the focus, I continue to be a lifelong learner in many fields.
I love to travel, and these days I am traveling light. Many years of my life was spent as a military dependent. I now embrace the many exciting challenges, blessings, and adventures that come without the constraints of a professional career. Treasuring each moment of each day is a joyful blessing.
