Distance might not be all that big of a problem...I still believe in LOVE/commitment..and think it is the ONLY thing worth having!I have not exactly picked the best women,to spend my life with..to say the least....But I am changing that..and NOT bitter. I was raised as a gentleman..and KNOW how to treat a LADY! I am a very simple straight forward,guy-and cherish the simple things in life. I LOVE nature..and could never live away from it,for very long.I have 18 hobbies..and ALL are outdoor-related.LOLI have 3 acres of rural property:and my favorite thing to do is get up just before dawn..and sit on my porch. The dew is on the flower's,the birds are singing,the air smells so sweet..and there's a mist in the air:It's just breathtaking. I AM a DEVOUT ROMANTIC..and ENJOY showing affection. I love to go running/walking/hiking/camping/fishing--anything outdoors. I enjoy riding my motorcycle(especially in the country),and I have MANY other hobbies. I LOVE to KISS,hug,snuggle,and hold-hands!NO:bars/crowds/noise/drinking/drugs/party's,etc. I DO enjoy board-games&cards!!I I hardly ever watch tv..maybe a good movie...?LOVE my kids/grandchildren. I'm articulate&intelligent,but I can be a "good ol'boy",when the situation is correct.I am NOT a materialistic guy..and frankly don't understand this whole quest for "bling",that seems to have people so mesmerized! I am self-employed..and DON'T make much money..and that's the way I like it. Life's just too short..to be chasing money... I lost both my parents 2 years ago..and it made me took a good look at myself..and I slowed WAY down.Have had more than my share of life's "lesson's" so I have some minor trust issue's,and therefore I'm very cautious.Life gets kind of precious..when there's less of it--to waste--so I try to focus on the good/simple things,and ignore the rest. I miss having meaningful conversations(or SILLY)...and holding hands.I DO love to communicate.If I care about someone..I make sure that they know it.Flower's candy,cards,poems..I ENJOY doing all of that. Looking for that simple/down to earth girl,who is tired of the games.and seeks a MAN,that will put her first. I need someone who takes SOME care of herself..and isn't B.F.F--with her couch! lol No..I do not want little miss perfect body..no--way. She should mainly be able to run with me..as I enjoy it..and run 15 miles/week. If you're 10-15 lbs.overweight..FINE! I really want a PARTNER..someone who has her own thought/opinions...and is pretty independent/intelligent..as I AM.. We should support OURSELVES! I'm going to move SLOW this time..so friends 1st! PLEASE..NO MORE PROPOSALS!! Not getting married soon(if ever). I just DON'T participate in HOOK-UPS..OR FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS I never take my self too seriously..and if anything..I'm a little in-secure. Would LOVE to have a good communicator,and a quick-witted,but big hearted girl..by my side. Myself..I have a HUGE heart..and it gets me in trouble sometimes..so please be nice! lol If this grabs you:please let me know......but again....FRIENDS first. I GUESS I don't have problems with you being younger than I..but you MUST be a GROWN-UP..and very practical/down-to-earth!
