About me...well, as my friend would say I am one of the few genuinely honest, loyal, caring and nice lady left. Nice does not mean I'm a pushover. It means possessing character, showing courtesy and possessing a quiet strength. I would describe myself as an optimistic realist. That means I hope for the best but prepared for the worst. I guess that is the girls guide in me. I try to live each day with a child's sense of wonder and an adult's wisdom. I believe that having fun is the difference between living and just being alive. I am as gentle and affectionate or as strong and assertive as a situation warrants. I believe in what I consider to be common courtesies such as opening the door for a man (no matter what his age), giving him my coat if he is cold, giving up my seat for his (whether he is a stranger or not), holding hands, and being him champion... although these no longer seem to be common...
