I am widow of 5 years and want someone to share my love and life with once again. I am very grateful for my wonderful son who bring me joy and laughs all the time. However it's time for me to step up and out of the rut I have been in and hoping to find someone who would enjoy sharing new adventures with me, like traveling and exploring especially the good ole USA. but would love to see the mountains, the west coast, Vegas; you name it and I’m raring to go. But it is not fun going places or doing things without someone special to share them with.
I would like this person to be a fun loving Lady with a big heart and who would not be afraid to share her family, feelings, her thoughts about anything and emotions with me. I want this person to be herself at all times, and not think she has to impress me by doing something that is not in her nature or would make her uncomfortable. Just be the great Lady you are and all will be fine. I know it’s trite but I don’t think looks are nearly as important as what is inside.
I like walking and seeing nature at its best; even in the rain, and I think walking along the beach at sunset is the perfect ending for any day. I enjoy good books and then sharing them with others, movies; most any genre' works for me except blood and gore, some TV and sharing good times and great food with my son especially picnics and BBQ’s. I like to fish, but haven’t done so since I was a young. I can bait but sorry I don’t take them off the hook. Being out in a boat on a lazy river or on a nice lake sounds like heaven. I have never gone camping, but would love to try. I like to go to some sporting events and would even participate if I had someone to “play catch with”.
I do have a great sense of humor and love to laugh; especially at myself and some of the silly things that I seem to do from time to time and being with someone who makes me laugh is a real turn on.
I consider myself to be intelligent; educated by life-not so much by school, willing to try most things, maybe not keg stands at this age, but if the opportunity presents its self-you just never know what I might or might not do. I am a good communicator and should I be brave enough to email you first, it would be nice if you would reply; if there's no spark that's fine, but nice to know rather than be left wondering, OMG what did I say that was sooo wrong :).
